A charity created to help feed the needy in South Africa. We provide assistance with school lunches, rent, medication costs, and operate a soup kitchen.
With unemployment at 32% in South Africa there are many families in need. There are very few social services for those families. We are the only food bank that we know of. There is very little support for those who have no jobs. Because of this the crime rate is high as people steal in order to feed themselves and their families. Because of poverty 3500 babies per year are abandoned, most are found dead. We strive to give people a reason to hope, rather than hurt.
